Statistics Reflection

For maths we have been doing statistics. This unit is very useful for organizing data and learning the averages.
Throughout statistics i improved on measuring angles and don't think i need to improve on anything else further. In the test my score was 95% which i wasn't at all happy with, as it was just silly mistakes that let me down. I think during this unit concentration helped me learn to the fullest and will continue to help me in my work!

OPC CAMP IS OVER!

Last week was OPC camp and it was a great experience. We had stopped at The Levin Adventure Park for lunch and then the Waiouru Army Museum, in which i found very fascinating. After a short while we reached The Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuit Center.

Sadly, camp is now over. Throughout this experience we did many activities including: abseiling, the high ropes, caving, navigating and more. My favorite activity was caving. I found learning about the glow worms and the caves very interesting. The most challenging activity would have to be High Ropes. Team work was required to succeed in this activity and i think that i did really well, as i have a fear of heights. My proudest moment would have to be The Burrito Song. The Burrito Song is a song i made up at camp while we were eating dinner(burritos).

Overall i thought camp was a great experience and i hope to do it again!

SWIMMING!!

Swimming has been a lot of fun and ive learnt a lot. The few days i have been in the water, i've learnt many skills. I think i am improving and need to work on my breathing. In the future i think i can get the most out of the lessons by trying my hardest to give my 100%.
